Public Works it out
The weather is hot and sweaty in the city which means tons of people out in the streets, getting reckless and generally doing wierd shit. In celebration of the current heat wave I planted some vegetables in my back yard. I’m not sure how this is all going to end up but if it all works out I’m going to have a ton of salad to share with you all.
ANYWAYS…on to the good stuff.
Friday night I am rocking the decks for a good cause at the Reason to Party event at Public Works. This is a party to benefit Dolores Street Community Services build the first ever LGBT homeless shelter in San Francisco. Live entertainment including aerial silk performers on two floors all night long, stunning décor, a photo booth provided by Photography for Good, liquor tasting tables, and an open bar with sponsored vodka cocktails, wine, and Sapporo beer.

Bag Raiders are the combined talents of Jack Glass and Chris Stracey. Together, they produce the sparks of light, aural gems and sonic booms that make up one of the most sought after up-and-coming groups on the planet. After dropping singles on Bang Gang 12s (Fun Punch, Turbo Love) and remixing the likes of Cut Copy, Midnight Juggernauts and Kid Sister, their reputation grew internationally, and when they released a little ditty titled ‘Shooting Stars’ they reached every dangerous, dark and smokey corner of the world, making them a household name among DJs across the globe.
On Saturday, March 30th this Australian electro duo brings the bass back to Vessel for a very special DJ set.

New Jamzzz
Ok so here are some solid dancefloor jams that are guaranteed to get your party started.
The first one i caught wind of via the Damn Gina crew and Im down for the R&B vibes combined with smooth drug infused lyrics.
Another nice version
The next tune is a certified dancefloor filler from local SF homie Vin Sol forthcoming on Unknown to the Unknown. The blaring repetitive horns and warehouse sound are guaranteed to get a dancefloor moving. Im feel the baby chicken sample too. Take it to the next level with this one.
Im really vibing this new DJ Theory remix of “Flarelight – I believe” Really nice laid back Trap vs Moombah sounds…you know this will pop it off.
One last track. This is Them Jeans latest creation which is a re-visioned edit of Flight Facilities – Clair De Lune featuring the vocals of Christine Hoberg. Although its still a mellow vibed tune, it comes with a bit more than the original. Which is your favorite?
Here is the original as well.
Miss Kittin returns to SF
Tonight Obey the Kitty is back with a long awaited second performance from Miss Kittin. As one of the founders of the modern electro sound almost every current DJ can look back and say they were influenced in some way by her work. Having spent over a decade cultivating her intransigent image, Miss Kittin reliably brings all her gusto, charisma and inspiration to the decks, which have produced many moments of dance-floor heaven and is rightly placed as one of the most revered and recognizable artists in Dance music today.

california knows how to party
I just think this is funny.
Source: I love charts
Here are some great new tracks as well.
This is a rock jam that I have always loved and feel like maybe it should go up now
After the party its the hotel lobby…
This weekend I am rockin the the decks at two of San Francisco’s sexiest and most upscale establishments The W Hotel and the Clift Hotel. There is something utterly refreshing about being able to just go in for hours on all the obscure, fun, remixed, deep, nu and fun tracks that dont always have a place somewhere else. Come by for a drink or two…its always a sexy upscale crowd, great drinks, and the possibilites are endless.
Friday – The Living Room at the W Hotel
Saturday – The Redwood Room at the CLift Hotel
